Karla’s passion for hair began as she experimented with her own hair during her high school years. Soon after, Karla attended the Aveda Institute which not only reinforced her passion for the beauty industry but also cultivated her admiration of the Aveda culture of caring for nature and the world we live in. It also inspired Karla to pursue her career at Xylem, an Aveda Salon, where she has now taken steps towards her career by becoming a Salon Assistant. For Karla, being a Salon Assistant consists of awesome customer service and building relationships with each guest as she applies their color, rinses their hair, or does the finishing blow dry. We are fortunate to have Karla as part of our Xylem team.
